There we go 4s. Thanks again for convincing me

Got the F4 on the 5th at Mudgee from my only bet of the day

It paid $9052 with a jackpot of $2453 so not too many of us got it.......must be a rort
Rort might just be an accurate description, Wily.

$5.8k F4 pool with a jackpot of nearly $2.5k would suggest the TAB was main winner.......23% takeout as well!

Interestingly the F4 pool in the next race of nearly $18k seemed to attract a lot more attention.

I probably would side with PM in this debate.......I wouldn't be recommending F4 betting........always seem to be close to a big win with only the very occasional strike.

Good luck anybody brave enough to take F4 in Sydney staying races.......leaving the opening favourite from the C Waller stable right out of calculations is one strategy that might work......might!

Nem.
Anyone is entitled to question me . I have zero issue with that and if anyone else wants to discuss betting strategy, thatís great as well. I need to learn more

However, That Fckwit Mair questioned my honesty and then refused to discuss it when he was clearly wrong and out of line

Heís a turd and should be punted off this forum but it appears magic , via his inept management of this joint, wonít do so

Nem, further to your point re the pool.
Iíve got no problem with a business operator taking 23%. Especially as the TAB supports the industry that I love.

Also, having just handed over $850 to a mechanic to replace my brake pads on my car. 23% is quite reasonable compared to those thieves

nemesis,

Some trouble with your assumptions but each to their own.

First principle is whether you make a profit - not how much the take out is.

I don't bet on the majority of races - a part of the answer to why your assumption is wrong. The increased pool size in the next leg is another part but still there is more to it.

Hmmmm,

Somewhere in all of this Peter has actually made a useful observation. Now don't get me wrong he cant match a broken clock even if given a year to match a clocks day BUT he has said something that may increase my profitability.

And no its not laying his tips.

I wont say what it is.

All,

Peter is continuing his idiocy by thinking that a given result can only be obtained only one way.

The truth is that NOTHING WORKS ALL OF THE TIME which is why first fours in general are not for dummies. The header gives a simplistic approach to first fours for when you have an extreme roughy under consideration and are otherwise pretty clueless. When you are not clueless you should not go field field or field anytime at all.

I took the day off but had I been betting I would have gone with the big class drop horse which happened to win BUT note I would have preferred 4th place so many have this totally back to front. Chances are Wily had a different horse from his videos or black booking approachs to get there and that good as there are many ways to get a given result.

jfc will do his 5000 tickets to finesse to the 0.0001 degree every result but such is unnecessary. Using a tiny proportion of those tickets variance alone will see the results being much the same as jfc's  minutiae in the long run. jfc's minutiae do make a difference if a given race happened to be your last betting race ever and that's all.

I have available over 200 approaches to choose from for any given situation - all have their strengths and weaknesses. The job is to choose the right one but this wont help you if you don't understand the race's inherent variance properly in the first place.

Peter wants something spoon fed and simplistic for every situation and thinks this is possible - and thus the idiot tag.

Oh dear -- rules ain't rules

Not even a week old and the kennel-kids have conceded.

There are now 200 sets of rules -- 199 still to be disclosed.

I have available over 200 approaches to choose from for any given situation - all have their strengths and weaknesses.

I guess this thread is now terminal and terminating

[PS ........... I do fervently hope the wily one bets lots on the races at Mudgee.]

Bugger, for the 2nd day in a row Iíve snared a massive priced placegetter but missed the F4 :tears:

Just backed October Jewel e/w at $126 but had 1st, 3rd 4th 5th & 6Th over the line

Did the same with banger winning at $13 on Wednesday with the $50 2nd horse  :embarrassed:

Ouch
