After logging out, UNiTAB.com now lets you still see expanded form, like TABonline used to.

I.E. You can't see expanded form until you login (at least once), but after that you can see it for X number of days regardless of whether you are logged in or not.

With the new website, I was hoping UNiTAB would make a correction to their display of divvies for abandon quaddies, etc.

Yesterday, they displayed the consolation quaddie as "13*F".

Now that's a nonsense.  What then mean is "13*ANY*ANY*ANY".

Pretty simple, really. :unsu

Geoff, it comes as no surprise that you don't appreciate the significance of my earlier post.  I'll help you out as best I can.

Ya see on a TAB ticket there's "F" - and that means a lot different to "ANY".

The pay result on yesterday's quaddie does not involve "F".

Oh, I appreciated the significance of the issue raised in your post, alright.

Help me out a little more if you will.

Just how many unclaimed tickets, and their value, do you estimate will ensue from how the divis were displayed?

Probably none...but not everyone is au fait with betting terminology as most on here.

They see "F", and can think FIELD.  And why just the one "F"?

Easy solution.

It wouldn't be the first time a TAB learned something from a punter.

QUADDIE PAYOUT: Gee I could not even find the quaddie payout screen. I know, I know, finding it is an intelligence test. Where is it.
In the newspaper they show it as [ 13 Wanted - F - F - F  ] $9.70. Cheers

Thanks DD now see it and must admit I did not notice it on screen before.

QD   13 * F  9.70

Yes, well the newspaper needs educating, too.

PS  The result is shown on the page for the LAST race.

not sure if this has been covered, but why do they have to include the date in the web adress for the days racing.

I previously had "todays racing" bookmarked and could go straight to the current days racing, now you have to go through the stupid home page everytime.

A minor inconvenience, but an avoidable one. Particularly annoying when going through a mobile phone as it adds a good bit of time to load the extra page.

Does anyone know how to Find FootyTab on the new site?
I have found match odds listed for Round 1 NRL in the Sports section but can't find FootyTab. Maybe they will throw it up Thurs or Friday?
  :what:

don't even bother trying el zoro - go to TAB NSW - footytab opens on Tuesdays each week now and has 0% commission on Pick The Margins for the next 4 weeks - so jump on board!

mate, I had an account with NSW Tab MANY years ago but stopped using it, it lay idle for a 5 years. I tried to re-join a couple years later & wasn't allowed as I already had an account. (don't think there is any $ in it though)

I rang up(a couple years ago) to try & get my logon & password details emailed to me but because of security procedures they wouldn't do this. My address/phone no./email address has all since changed.
Is there a way you think they can re-activate my old A/c & I can just update the details? OR otherwise delete that account & I can re-join fresh.
Like I said I don't know what the old a/c or password are.
I can PM you my name & old address.

An earlier poster complained about Form for logged in  members and Form for not logged in members and I wondered what the problem was, but now I see.

I start to collect race data and of course you don't log in because you are not about to bet, So you collect the race field information on the OLD TAB display, no problem, then you double click onto the first runner in the field and you get the NOT LOGGEDIN FORM. So you move back and Log in as a member and you get the message "Unable to Log In as temporarily unavailable. Annoying but one can live with it, but Why Oh Why.  Why not give everyone the LOGGED IN FORM, because once they start using the logged in form they will appreciate this data service availability and become a member if they are not already one. Cheers.

Yep: Still can't Log On to TAB site for betting, and consequently can't get member FORM and data, unless someone can tell me HOW!!!.  My crazy computer is screaming for DATA DATA DATA!!.

Tried the New TAB Web Site and could log into bet and consequently got the members form, so we are on our way. Not sure if it was a TAB Glitch, planned maintenance or my bad keying in, but sure disrupts  the normally quiescent activity of data gathering. Cheers

You don't have to be logged in to get the expanded form guide. As long as you have logged into the account once a week (i think it is) the site places a cookie on your PC that removes the need to log in every time.

Thanks Beachy think I may not have been on the UNITAB site for a week or so, and that may have been problem. I think If I access the UNITAB site on Friday and log in as if I was to bet, then I can access the required Form for Saturday' fields.  Will check it out again next Saturday.

Checked it today and both the old and new UNITAB screen allow you access to the three last race form by clicking on the first non scratched horse in the race field apparently though not appearing to be logged in to bet.  Cheers.

Anyone know why they paid out on 10-1 ?

The Storm game was 17-4, no one had it so they paid out on 16,18-4
The Sharks game was 11-0, no one had it so wouldn't you think it pay out on 10,12 -0/1.

I tried to look up the pick score pool for match to see if there was only 1 winner but they hide the pool for some weird reason.   BUT you'd think they'd be consistent with how they publish the winning numbers. Even if no-one had 12-0 they should be consistent to show it like that if they did it for the other game.

Why they choose to publish 1 as the losing score is also baffling as 0/1 is on the ticket. Someone could see they paid out on 10-1 & thrown their ticket away. (maybe that's what they want!  :confused1:

The only reason I'm posting this is someone asked me how they work it out & I said I don't know, must be in the fine print in the rules.

There are 18 points of priority on the list for payouts in the event of no one actually having the correct score.

The first point is: the winning teamís score and the losing teamís score plus or minus 1 point

The second point is:the winning teamís score plus or minus 1 point and the losing teamís score

So from that I'd conclude that they've got down to the second point, and no one has had 12-0/1 so the payout goes to everyone who had 10-0/1.

In the Storm game there were obviously punters who had the 16 & 18-4 hence the dual payout.

Thanks Beachy, so if they payout on 10-0/1 why don't they write 10-0/1 as the winning score?
