So rapt for this horse today (not just talking out of my pocket) I have been following at its last 3 starts, and since it was finally consistently showing something I was keen today. Good on Anne Mcgrath for her persistence, she spends a lot of time with the old boy

I don't do the Melb form but it was certainly short enough in the market for a horse that hasn't got hot in awhile, must have been an ordinary race  :chin:

Gin,

I hate talking after the event---but won its last 2 in the bush--and it was the best weighted horse in Australia--if it was on song--a good thing--$4--was most probably the right price. It is a "happy" horse at present and put in the right  race can perform. A credit to the trainer to get it back up to winning.

Yeah that was the key Chuggs the weights, had certainly less than I expected :what: add the claim to that... Steerage job, not that I quite backed it like that or it quite won like that lol

Tears I Cry may be redeemed -- but not Australian racing

...........had I bet TIC to win, rather than to run second, I would be enjoying the F4 dividend.

Pete I am quite pessimistic about the future of Aussie racing, well I thought I was until reading some of your posts, now I feel more like Santa Claus, compared to you I am Santa, the Easter Bunny and a 4 leaf Clover all rolled into one,

if you had the figures you want and you were right about when the big money was placed, it begs the question, What could be done to change it?? At one time there was a 40 minute gap before the race that you had to place your bet, don't think anyone would put up with that, anyone can leave their bets untill the last second if you like, how could you change that and not upset everyone??

Mark, it was fixed odds favorite yesterday at $4.00.  Was it a good price on Betfair?

JP,

Don't give me the "after the race" option.

Out of order---I could of said  :censored: off -- normally do not come back this strong----but I did not come back with a comment until Gin made a comment---I just was giving some input--just my thoughts at the time.

Ease off

Why would you do that Mark? There are that many these days that bet best tote or best fluc, whatever is higher. If you can't be there to watch BF there's no other way to bet imho.

Yeah most times I do mate just that I thought that punters and bookies alike would come to their senses, with it opening around $3 and being backed lol

Thanks Hamers

......... I did not know where to start in resurrecting 'the start of it'

TIC just sticks in my mind ............. my son, Patrick, was married that day ........ why would he do that ........ in Cup Week? .... I had the earpiece in my ear during the ceremony ..............

I am over it ........ accept it as history .... bar reminding punters of how wrong it can get ...............

............. illustrations since are also legendary ........... and paying 'heaps' to run 10th.........is a portent of things to come.

It is disturbing that Archie Butterfly has credibility in exposing, apparently, incredibly obvious misconduct while  'stewards reports' routinely say 'AOK' and 'reviews of the betting' find nothing.

They would not want to know that they were duped.

I am fearful they will not want to find 'things' on confiscated phones.
