 I only just realized that the jockey challenge was classed as a sport bet and you could couple it up with any of the other sport bets.

eg
  You can have Kathy O'Hara to win the JC at Goulburn  all up NSW to win the Ford Ranger game in the cricket today.  This would pay $3.70.

good cheap bet imo.

Nice win by the thing she rode in the 4th. Had it second last off the hectic pace and stormed home in the straight to win easily.

HORSE of the Year Weekend Hussler will be a surprise starter in the $500,000 Lightning Stakes at Flemington at the end of next month.

Melbourne trainer Ross McDonald said he would use the Group 1 Lightning Stakes (1000m) at Flemington on January 31 as a trial.

"He has thickened out a bit but he is still his grumpy old self," McDonald said.

Weekend Hussler has been back in work for five weeks and will clash with Apache Cat and Golden Slipper winner Sebring.

If he can jag a couple of points early with the roughies, he finishes off with two good rides
