Is the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast tracks really hard to WIN ON !
What tracks are equal to the above mentioned to the city ?

Example: Sunshine Coast = Rosehill, Gold Coast = Randwick ?
Are the straights longer or shorter

Need some input here to make adjustments.

To me these are the hardest tracks to WIN ON !

Cheers 8-)

Gold Coast races are generally run at decent pace, have limited formlines to compare and previous form repeats more often than not.

If you can't win at the coast you seriously have no chance at other

today's quaddie a case in point.

went 1/4/3/5 in respective legs for 60 combos.

Dardan a moral won the 1st leg at $2.60(5 runners)
pub torque the 2nd @ $4.40(7 runners)
Little Imp the 3rd @ $6.30(5 runners)
Age of Heroes @ $2.10 in  the last. (11 runners)

so the quaddie had only 1925 possible combos yet they give me $1200 for a unit on the quaddie with 2 favs a 2nd fav and a $6 shot.

Gold Coast is a gift from heaven.

I would sum that as Randwick = Sunshine Coast,
Open roomy plenty of space for big striders not so much for smaller horses.

To some degree yes....but i would say Randwick of old was the best track ...they would  hold up before that rise ...& the best jock i've ever seen there riding on that old track was Ron Quinton in my time...he was a master of just waiting till he topped  the rise...you get jocks that are great just riding that certain track ....and he was one of them...  emthup

Agree fully with you the Leonitis, used to love backing Mick at Ipswich midweek on horses that shortened on the tote just before they jumped but where nearly always good prices to begin with, nearly always won on them

Come to think of it, I reckon he won on more good priced horses then shorties  ;)
