Just reading an article and if what is reported is true then socceroo Aaron Mooy might be the greatest athlete to play the game of football.

"The gun Socceroos international scored one, set up two and played a huge part in his side’s other goals as City ran riot and defeated Perth Glory 5-1 on Friday night.

It was the 14th time in 16 games Mooy has produced at least a goal or an assist in a match, leading to speculation he could be attracting European interest.

The 25-year-old, who this week gave birth to his first child, "

Very impressive to back up from giving birth and play a part in 3 goals. Well done Lad.

The Goodes fiasco is hard to top as an example of ham fisted brainwashing and oppression of fans.

But looks to me like the FFA might have topped the AFL (and V'landys of course) at pissing off supporters.

I'm with the boycotting fans. They seem to have made their protest extremely effectively.

And a new problem flares up.

How come they get through security?

Surely after the 1st flare erupts all available security cameras could survey that segment?

And all patrons in the vicinity can be searched thoroughly.

This seemingly lax security surely must catch the attention of thrill seeking Islamic terrorists looking to go off with a bang at some aimless Cricket match with a 90,000 crowd.

Like most places these days the Security is most probably getting paid minimum wage or slightly higher. There for show.

I would expect them to do exactly what you would expect a minimum wage worker to do.  ;)

The sad part out of this is wander around social media and the overwhelming view from Wanderer's fans is not about the problem but the biased reporting from the media  :o

They can't even acknowledge there was something wrong

Quite an informative piece about the issues in developing the rectangular Parramatta stadium.

There are so many potential benefits with this and it's important that Baird doesn't stuff this up, and does a better job than his dad Bruce did on the Olympic ghost dome.

Why isn't this game free to air! Live!

FFA needs to fix this.

Crazy game , 4-4 at 90 mins & WSW won 5-4 after extra time.
Roar were gifted 3-0 lead from terrible WSW errors & then threw it away with really bad defence.
Don't think either team deserved to win.

Yes and to be honest most people do forget the minor premiers as the grand final winners are the ones who are the competition winners.

Yes it's odd how the GF has taken off in soccer these days when for many years the Premiership winner was the Main thing to win.
Maybe it's the Champions League comp that started GF being played in soccer or maybe World Cups?

I think the EPL still has the Premiership winner & no Grand Final.

Funny thing was commented to tonite that WSW won their 1st year in the A-League & I thought they did & said 'Yep'.
Seems they won the Premiership but not the GF.

All the major leagues in Europe, South America etc follow the highest points as the winners of the competition.

We follow the US version and have a finals series. But then again, we do call it soccer like them too.

Asia is only going to get tougher.

So it's a great effort by the Socceroos to to win in extremely inhospitable conditions at Abu Dhabi.
