Reasonable analysis of some of the issues for the new season.

They need to have a decent FTA product.

WSW will be facing some stadium challenges. Presumably moving to GWS Oval temporarily.

Not sure how the Sydney Derby will pull 60 large if Olympic Stadium is facing demolition.

Telling comparison between AFL and soccer pay.

Many of the biggest soccer earners are near unknown to even soccer fans.

Given that playing longevity is higher in soccer, and that older players can play in still lucrative lower leagues these are other advantages.

Brisbane have knocked out Shanghai in the ACL..

This is a monumental achievement.

Severely under reported at home.

There is very serious Chinese money ploughed into their teams.

And most young Brisbane players have done their careers no harm through having the spotlight shone on this match .

I'll see your roar and raise you 10 as yet unpaid Hunter youngsters doing the same thing!

Fours
ps only 10 on the field for 20 minutes and amonst that team a lot of young players yet to be paid for soccer for a living....

Video reviews start this round!

Presumably piloting an intended world wide initiative.

Overwhelming benefits, from what I can see.

It occurs to me that a major side effect is boosting TV rights.

A big problem currently is that 45 uninterrupted minutes pisses off advertisers big time.

VARs will command a peak rating and the inevitable accompanying ads will mean big bucks.

Unprecedented tournament clean sweep by Matildas.

The goals against Brazil border on tap ins, suggesting they were dominating the midfield.

Won't harm their overseas contract negotiations.
