Any chance Worsfold leaves Essendon and takes over coaching Fremantle ?.His family recently returned to Perth.
Anythings possible but Longmuir has been on their radar for awhile.

Essendon more than likely one of early teams eliminated.

JWH, I am a fully paid up member of Essendon with a guaranteed seat at the Grand Final and you can have 25/1 even getting in the GF and 66/1 winning the GF.

If you need my BSB  and A/C number to place your stake do not hesitate to send me a private message, any small amount for the sideboard is always appreciated.

Some good matchups in the finals.

Geelong v Collingwood could be a bottler and the Lions will improve at home too.

West coast should win while GWS game is a lottery.

Not sure how much the Lions will improve - think they may have plateau'd out - hate to contemplate it but they could very well be out in straight sets....

I won’t write them off. They had a tough 5 games v Hawks, Dogs, Suns, Geelong and Richmond. Bar the Suns, the other teams were in form. They hung in there with Richmond too. A week off will help them physically. Mentally it is tough as no finals experience.

However last few premiership winners were never in calculations at the start of the season too.

Out of all the games this weekend, there could be an interesting side to the GWS v Dogs game. Dogs fans are expected to outnumber the GWS fans which is almost unheard of in AFL for a host finals team.

The top two sides both lost so it is an interesting line up next week.

Geelong v West Coast would have been a GF possibility a few weeks ago. Geelong usually bounce back well but West Coast are the defending premiers.

Lions ran out of steam against Richmond but inaccurate kicking was a big issue as they could had a nice lead in the first half. GWS smashed the dogs but their consistency is not high. Could be a good match up.

Collingwood are one game from the GF and they will be relishing the chance to play the Lions or GWS for a spot.

Richmond looked great but facing either Geelong or West Coast is a daunting challenge too.

Well 47 points in game 1 , no Robinson & Greene cleared to play for the Giants. Lids out & Tomlinson who will be very hungry to prove a point comes in
Hearts will be broken

Naitanui and Greene plus others should have been suspended.

The tribunal is a joke.

Being flung backwards head first into a fence is far more serious than Gaff's incident last year which was an attempted fend off to the chest.

I am thinking that if you end up at the Tribunal two weeks in a row ; you are probably a grub ; and deserve what you get.

Both semis this weekend could be great or lopsided. That is what the finals series has been like so far.

Buckley who was facing the boot midway last season has done well with the way Magpies have snuck in under the radar.
