If Australia wins, I would experiment with the openers. It should have been 3-0 our way if our openers had scored runs.

Warner, Bancroft, Harris and Khawaja have failed so far. This has been a bowlers series so far with Smith being the only constant exception amongst both teams.

Is it time to bring back Lawry and Simpson?

Interesting question posted on cricket info. If you were picking a best team for the current Ashes series from both sides, which batsmen would you pick?

My team would be Smith, a keeper and nine bowlers.

My god, what’s going on?

Where do we find some batsmen?

Thankfully we return to our flat tracks this summer so it may save some of them

Warner, Harris, Usman, Head, Bancroft & Marsh all looked well short of test class with the bat
