I think would be a good idea to have a thread for comments on domestic cricket and leave the other thread for international games.

It's up to you.

Post here, or vote with your feet and continue to post all matters cricket on the main thread.

One aspect of the domestic 20/20 comp that I find notable is the success of the marquee players (so far).

Some of them are hardly household names, but they've "done good".

Yeah they certainly have   emthup

I was amazed the other night when NSW made 190 odd, out of the 120 balls bowled, 31 were dots.

That's like 5 maiden overs out of 20

When watching a game, there doesn't seem to be many

Just look on it as another sport, sport.

Look at how many are there tonight.

The joint seems packed.

A mate just text me the same comment.

i replied that macdonalds are the most popular burger in the world but they are crap.

Ditto soccer is more popular than RL, Union, AfL but it is also crap by comparison 8-)

QLD home against SA. There's an early call against the odds for yas to pick at. ;)

I prefer T20 to 50 over stuff.

In fact I quite enjoy the 20/20, it is not something you analize quite as much as the 5 day game.

I am giving up on cricket seriously. I'm gonna have one more bet on it and if I lose I'll stay away for a long time. It might just be better for myself to lose lol

Maybe I go for the outsiders too much.  :chin:

Ben Cutting was a whisker away from taking the greatest outfield catch in the history of cricket

Why would there be a favorite ?

Id' have thought Bookies would be going $1.90 for both teams or 1.85 - 1.95 either team.

And this Saturday at Pennant Hills Oval in the 2nd Grade  Shires Game between Pennant Hills and Strathfield my son and I will be the officiating umpires--a very rare event in the history of the Sydney Cricket Association.  We should let my son choose the man of the match--could call it the Alan MacGillivray Medal

WA 0-72 after 10, you'd think with the batting to come they should make close to 200 providing no major hiccups.

At least 180 anyway, and they're still 2.12
