Ok, we have been struggling for the past few weeks but the light is getting brighter at the end of the Tunnel for us.

After todayís win, we find ourselves on 79 points and ahead of City by 22 points. With 11 games left, the max City can get is 90 points. Thus we need 12 points from 11 games to seal the title.

Time to hang tough and enjoy the ride.

Losing to Chelsea in FA Cup means we have two consecutive losses to ponder over. The treble is gone too.

Anyone looking for a decent price should consider the Betfair EPL Handicap.

I've just extrapolated finishing points +hcp as:

113.45 Liverpool $2.60
101.86 Leicester $15.0
112.36 Sheffield $1.54

Who knows?

And if that type of market appeals to you, why not also consider the AFL Handicap where you should find some Odds well above the competition's. And you'll almost certainly find yourself betting against me.

We need 6 points from our next nine games to win the title and below happens.

:bulb: I believe they might call off the comp for this year and declare it a bye year with no official winner.

Yeah, seems a fair thing to do.  :)

I was joking mate, but now Mikel Arteta has been tested positive it might be a reality.

The premier league is suspended along with some other leagues. The sad fact is that most of these comps will not start again within the next 4-6 weeks regardless what they are saying. Champions League will be cancelled too.

The reason why I donít think the leagues will resume again is most comps have 9-12 games left along with the knock out comps etc. The workload is unworkable if the leagues resume at the end of April especially as fitness is going to be a huge issue with quarantines meaning most teams would not be training together.

Remember it took China 6-8 weeks lockdown in certain provinces to reduce the new cases drastically while most European countries except for Italy do not have lockdown.

I have resigned myself to the fact that Liverpool will not win the title as league could be called off. The reason they may not award Liverpool title is the relegation issue as teams will complain that it is not fair and they could have made a comeback especially teams in the relegation zone who are a win away from safety.

Liverpoolís title drought will continue at this stage.

I just made up that post of mine above.

So, Jeunes, you think it might come to fruition?

So what do the bookies do with bets on EPL winners?

I've backed Arsenal.

I wrote that off long ago.

Might I be getting a refund?  :x:

I imagine they would write off all competitions with international travel first and then also Cup competitions.

That would at least allow domestic leagues to play an increased number of domestic league games in a shorter period of time.

They could probably get it done in a 5 week window.

We are on the brink of winning the title.

If Man City wins all their 8 games, we still need only 2 pts from our 7 games to seal the title.

However if Man City draws or loses any of their 8 games, we will win without even needing another point.

Tomorrow morning, it is Chelsea v City game. Címon Chelsea.
