There would have been no bigger Sonny Bill fan than me but I would hope no junior player has been moved to accommodate his return.
SBW in his three seasons for the Auckland Blues played 17 games (47 available) ....2017-2019.
Yes, there were glimpses of the magic off loads and his skill but it was also hard to miss his reluctance to just pin his ears back and run.
The man who achieved everything he would have dreamed about appears to me to no longer have the desire and motivation required.
He seemed hardly phased by the All Blacks loss to England in the World Cup and was quick to criticise NZ Rugby for the lack of Polynesian influence in the coaching ranks,
which is fair enough!....address the subject by all means but the day after the loss???
Hard to see how he is going to get that excited about running out on the field to play the Titans.
He looks to be driven by different forces now......not even taking into account how much his body is up to top level league.
I think Sonny Bill just wants to come back and live in his nice house in Sydney.......good on him.
I won't be switching on TV to watch him at the Roosters.
Thanks for some great sporting moments
