I do not know whether head injuries to players are more prevalent in NRL than other contact sports, however going by recent comments of two players who have played NRL there maybe some justification in believing head injuries are in fact more prevalent.
Wallabies star Israel Folau said hell awaits “drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists, idolators , gee a lot of blokes will finish up in hell
Anthony Mundine has weighed into the vaccination debate, imploring Australians not to vaccinate their kids and encouraging his followers to go against what he considered an act of bullying by the Australian Government .“Don’t vaccine your kids period! The government bully you into vaccine!
As Folau once played two seasons of AFL and continues to play ARU and Mundine turned to boxing at the end of his NRL career, one might argue those sports have affected their reasoning but both would have endured many head -high tackles playing NRL
