We have a long running thread for the "bunnies". Let's start one up for the team for the future, the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

Looking for some graphical content for this thread, you come across a lot of pictures that are related to the South African Rugby team, The Sharks.

Some of these pictures are worth sharing even though they have nothing to do with the Cronulla Sharks.

The Shire girls are good girls and they would never ever dress up like they do in South Africa.

Not a football comment in sight.

This is a "cultural" thread just as much as it is a sports thread.

But to appease the "Nazi Rule Book Readers" that insist on the universe being ordered and predictable here is some Sharks news

Sharks release Fifita to Super League

Cronulla have released prop David Fifita, allowing him to take up an opportunity with English Super League club Wakefield.

Fifita, the twin brother of Sharks and NSW forward Andrew, was recently granted three weeks leave to address personal issues and travelled to the UK.

The 26-year-old spent 10 days in hospital earlier in the season with a golden staph infection and has made just two NRL appearances in 2016.

I think we need a new title for this thread  :chin:

We have the 'Pride of The League' what should we call this one?  :what:

Maybe the "Jana's of the League"  :/ or the "Empty Cupboard" what about "Tumbleweed Shire"

Laugh all you like. Harold Holt is coming home.

I can understand Souths supporters being upset with shots of female cheerleaders being shown.

Have they still done away with theirs? They replaced them with little "marching boys" didn't they?

Q: What do the Sharks, Titans and Warriors have in common?

A: They are the only team in NRL that have not won a premiership

Q: What do the Panthers, Broncos, Knights, Cowboys and Raiders have in common?

A: They won a premiership after entering the competition after the Sharks

Q: What do West Tigers and St George Illawarra Dragons have in common?

A: They won premierships after merging

Q: What do Adelaide, Port Adelaide, Brisbane and West Coast have in common?

A: They entered the AFL premiership well after Cronulla entered the RL premierships but yet managed to win AFL premierships

Q: What do Harold Holt, John McEwan, John Gorton, William McMahon, Gough Whitlam, Malcolm Fraser, Bob Hawke, Paul Keating, John Howard, Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard, Tony Abbott and Malcolm Turnbull have in common?

A: They all have been PMs since the Sharks entered the premiership.

Bloody Roosters.

Sharks have to beat NQ by 42 or more to maintain their position at the top of the ladder now.

Sharks looking the better side at half time for mine.

Greenberg and Channel 9 will have to get on the blower to the refs and bunker if they want to ensure a NQ win in this one.

Your cynicism know no bounds. I doubt the officials can tell which team is which.

There is absolutely no way Cronulla fans can blame the referee should they not win tonight.

Cronulla player played the ball off the mark yet the Cowboys get pinned for Thurston not being square. That was very much a 50/50 call that went the Sharks way.

Here we go.

How could you possibly call that a knock on against Barba unless you were cheating

That knock on call against Barba was a poor call, but it was a mistake nothing else in it.

Cronulla lucky to have 13 players on the field.

If they were favouring a side to the effect of affecting the result than they would have sent Graham off.

You have a reputation of being "anti Shark".

No way that was a send off.

There you go. 10 in a row. That will make you miserable

I enjoy good football and good football teams. Cronulla fit that bill at the moment.

For mine that knock-on call against Barba was correct.

From what I saw the ball grazed his left hand which was moving towards the opponents' in-goal.
