NRL continues to confuse me more and more each day.

Anthony Griffen sacked from the Panthers while 5th and pretty much certainties to make the finals.  Why would they do this?

errr,

If performance is not the issue than indiscretions probably are.

Apparently he has a “bad bedside manner” in other words he’s a dick and the players and staff hate him

It is really disappointing South Sydney do not have strong enough leadership to advise Greg Inglis that he should stand down as Captain and relinquish his position in the touring squad.

Well I don't "love it".

I'd rather Seibold would have committed to The Pride of The League by signing his extension of contract.

But he didn't.

So  :censored:  off  now I say.

Swap now I say.

I'd say that whether it was Wayne Bennett or Billy Bloggs.

Aren't you grateful that he took Souths into the semis - they ran into a better club there and one that won the premiership.

But he did get them there.

He got us there with a style of football that was great, then he dumped it to play “semi final football “
His Selections and use of the bench was diabolical

Bennett is too old. He's 68 FFS. And a cranky 68. Look at the divisiveness he created at the Broncos. He has left there under bad circumstance and poor results with a good team.

Bad choice IMO.

Probably means Hayne.

And Souths get the whack across the chops as his old man was a Souths player.

Salary cap issues. The rumour is they had to upgrade a couple including Cook. Thus easier to fill a centre / back than a hooker. They also need money as a few coming off contract this year. Interested what they do with Inglis this year.

On paper, they have a solid team along with a good coach. Definite top 8 and maybe a good top 4 chance.

We should have done what every other club  (except Easts) seems to do: Cheat the cap and then get caught and penalised.

Thank you for acknowledging that Easts are the only club who does not cheat the salary cap   emthup

I wouldn’t swap Sammy Burgess for any other player in the NRL :no1:

Sam is an established Superstar but how good is Cameron Murray?  :noteworthy:

Plays about 20kgs above his weight.
