Dunno about that. I thought we were favoured with a couple of 50-50 call.

And there were many times when our blokes were drifting across the field in front of the defence with no idea as to how they were going to breach it.

Agree but I think thatís because of the slow play the ball and woeful interpretation of the 10m

Either way, wining ugly is a good sign

wining ugly is a good sign

That's right, as long as there are more impressive performances down the track.

There will be.

I like what uncle Wayne is doing in regards to our roster and how much game time everyone is getting

Next 5 weeks is crucial for the Rabbits. They are playing broncos (h), cowboy(h), raiders (a) , tigers(h) and eels(a). If they win 4/5, you can almost mark a top 4 finish.

They will probably start favourite in all 5 but the last of the five is the state of origin round.

Winning ugly and being 6/7 is good for the finish.

Lol you weren't sitting behind me were you JWH?

The Souffs supporter behind me all night complained - why can't we finish off games and make it an easy watch for us supporters

You never looked like loosing and seemed to idle along in 2nd gear just doing what you had to.

Any parra fans here ?

Do we write off yet another season and start hoping for better next year?

I canít believe how poorly they played on Thursday night.

Ok I believe it just thought those days were behind us.

Moses goal was the highlight

Sadly Winner I'll put my hand up  :shy:

I thought we were a genuine 4 to 8 side, I still think they can make the 8 but they'd want to improve off what they showed on Thursday

A couple of things, Will Smith should not be starting anywhere. He offers zero which in turn puts the whole attacking focus on Moses making it easy for teams to defend us. Salmon was a better option but lets hope Dylan Brown isn't too far off returning

Why would we play Ferguson in the centres?  His strength is his ball returning / dummy half running yet we play him in the centres which are now basically defensive positions  :bash:

I said the same with Hayne last year, totally wasted in the centres, hardly saw the ball, let alone in space and was simply another defender

My question for a parra fan is how many players would be considered a great or legend of the club in 5-10 years.

Most top 4 sides usually have a minimum 3-5 players.

The Rabbits has Reynolds. Cooke, Walker, Burgess etc.

Roosters have Tedesco, Mitchell, Cronk, Keary, Friend etc

The list goes on. I just canít see the Parramatta depth.

I see Walker as a bit of a flash in the pan, even Reynolds, he's good not great as for a number of years he was steady at best. Regardless I take your point.

The Eels only hope at this stage is Nathan Brown, he's been huge since joining the Eels yet unfortunately injured again  :tears: Gutho is more fan fav than great

Gin, the other more pertinent question is why some of the contracts were negotiated and signed so early in the season.

Arthur was not going anywhere. I canít see any of the clubs beating a path to his door. The only real job options are if some of the other sides keep losing and sack their coach.

Thus there was no real possibility of this happening till after the origin series.

Gutherson being signed was more of a fan agenda than a real necessity. Hasler would have liked him cheap if Walker left but again would he have been a Manly priority as he is playing out of position. Manly needs a hooker or half or another forward. Centres are a dime a dozen as they are some good kids coming through everywhere. Other sides donít need a fullback so he would be playing out of position.

Pearce and Walker had a chance to really cement a position today but did not impress at times.

Walker missed an easy field goal and Maloney kicked one for the panthers on the next play. Without Reynolds, Walker seems lost at times.

Walker is more potent than Pearce and Maloney but not sure regarding pressure and consistency if he does not have the support around him.
