I think Bennett will have a partial clean out at the end of the season.

He plans for the future and I think he knows he needs one more quality back and forward down the track to make Souths even better.

A lot of one*-out stuff with little penetration in tight or out wide except for when one player had the ball:-
How good is that player?

How good is Cameron Murray?

Big game is next week for top 4.

They need a few results to go their way  this week and next if they lose to Roosters to have the double chance.

Their biggest issue is that Cook, Reynolds and Walker have to fire together for rest of the year or they are just making the numbers. Murray, Gagai, Burgess etc are good when the big 3 are firing.

Itís an absolute disgrace the way the NRL dishonestly runs the game.
You need to look no further than their quest to drive Sam Burgess from the game

I was amazed he was put on report.

Thought it was a no-brainer he had no case to answer.

Then I see he's copped a week.

Joke!!!!!!

Cordners elbow to Reynolds throat resulted in no charge.
There is zero difference to the one that Burgess copped 2 weeks for

I donít think the storm hair pull was cited either

Wily you only have to look to the Eels v Manly game on Friday.

If there was ever a case for a send off it was Taupau's swinging arm that caught Ray Stone flush on the chin, he was out cold before he hit the ground, yet after multiple replays he only gets 10 mins and is allowed to return to the park whilst the Eels are down a man on the bench. Ray Stone was taken from the field in a medicab

Fast forward towards the end of the game and Kane Evans is also marched for 10 mins yet in all those replays it's plain to see that the first contact is in the chest / shoulder region before sliding up. Penalty yes, 10 mins is laughable. The Manly play got to his feet and walked off like there was nothing wrong.

To top it off, the absurdity of it that both Evans & Taupau will miss one week

The inconsistencies are killing the game  :thumbsd:

I agree partially with you Gin. The diff is the repeat offenders get a harder deal ie more scrutiny than so called ďcleanskinsĒ.

Smith is an offender but there are other clubs who offend as badly too. If you watch any games today, watch the turtle rolls.

The referees and Bunker have no consistency. There was a crackdown on crusher tackles but that is on the wane. Now it is the facials and niggling in tackles which is getting scrutiny.

Why is it some players get sin binned for being placed on report while others donít? If you are placed on report then you should be binned automatically.

HIA is a joke, there was so many head clashes in the Roosters v Rabbits game but it took a while before they were actioned. Crichton was the worst, the bloke is being taped up for his cut in the head yet he is allowed to play on for awhile. Where is the common sense in that?
