............. agreed...... a slow learner
............. but some knew more than others........... ..besides the trainer.

I guess we all know to be wary of 'first up' among other things .............including that accolade for a form reversal......'was trained to the minute for a target race' ......

I know it is smart to get one ready .....but it looks slick ......... and whatever 'they' do to get one ready ...........it is usually only good for that one run.

I do not see how this practice, however clever, is good for racing.

I will not be expecting Humidor to be winning again soon ..........nor running in the Cox plate.

Richie gets on the bandwagon for the smoked in Humidor.

CW is not the only one able to do it but he has pulled some astonishing turnarounds both recently and previously.

Humidor was a stunning stunt ......played on the punters ........... but can a racing media writer have a go at the back-story ........ how was it done? ........... and don't forget WuGok .....or Shillelagh knocking a few heads off against the odds.

How is it done? ............. do these stunning performances portend another ........ or more likely 'never again'.

COULD IT BE ONE OF THE GREATEST STORIES

What a performance by Humidor in the Feehan Stakes - full marks to the horse, trainer and rider.

It is not often a horse gets a new lease of life as an eight-year-old, but Humidor in his 42 start career had never previously won first-up and in his three runs last preparation he finished 10th, eighth and fifth in Western Australia.

The old warrior went so close as a five-year-old in the 2017 Cox Plate when second to the champion Winx, could he possibly win the big race as an eight-year-old?

What a story it would be.

The George Main begs a question

..... will the elegant one and a sea star ............ prove the form from the Winx............. or was that quinella about either 'just readied for one run'?

Waller adds another G1 to his 112 wins with Kolding’s win today.

http://www.australianracingrecords.com.au/index.asp?f=alltime-trainers

He is still way behind TJ and Bart. The question is will he get there?

He has won 2 G1 races this spring with Very Elegant in the Winx Stakes and George Main today.

However he still has some good horses to challenge for rest of the spring but Racing is a funny game.

The CC, MC and GS have still eluded him while many others in the top 10 G1 trainers have achieved it.

...........following Waller runners makes 'wallys' of us all ............... find wally? ............ look in a mirror.

.....it is time to make him choose his 'best' two ............... no more stacking the fields.

We don’t need Waller  to make a “Wally” of you. You’ve got it under control yourself

Didn’t you back Kolding?

Richie is on the job

If there is ever an issue I notify the stewards and public ASAP,” Waller told Racenet.
