I actually went for one at odds as I canít see much pace in the race unless a few of them change their style.

1. Dalasaun
2. Zaaki
3. Very Elegant
4. Anamoe
5. Moíunga
6. Probeel

I'm going to wait until tomorrow.
The weather forecast is wet.....heavy rain tonight and showers tomorrow.

One of my racing rules was.... take the 3yr old in even WFA races......pedigree permitting of course.
Is the Cox Plate an even WFA race?......I think so.
Oliver  barely touched Anamoe last start and with his little ear prick across the line shows me, that was comfortable.....I can see him winning.....he is good.....49.5kgs

I'll have something on Dalasan as well....only because I want him to win......what a neat horse he is.
He'll love a softish track.

TAB  site states 'fine' weather, Good track 4.
BOM shows no rain in 2 days, couple of mm only today..
Accurate or nonsense?

The TAB site has become rubbish......what is going on there?
Do not trust the TAB track rating until the official track rating has been put up on the day.....ever!
Thank God for Racing.com.

Soft 5 at Moonee Valley at the moment....that's a nice surface....a Romancer surface.
The day looks to be fairly clear now.

Zaaki scratched!
Far out, shoulda taken that $12 Mounga yesterday.
TAB paid out on him didn't they?
Who's corporate cock up was that?
How ridiculous.

Not sure what 'loyalty admiration benefit dividend' they get out of that sort of silly 'bravado' ...'declaration'.
Can you imagine an ole school bookie doing same?
To quote Lenny Kravitz:
So many tears I've cried
So much pain inside
Baby, it ain't over till it's over

Why is it a TAB issue?
They are given the info are they not?

Well best you ask TAB just where they get their info from Wily and when they check.
It is consistently different to the track reports on Racing.com for Vic races.
The track rating doesn't get altered.

Last night ....Moonee Valley.......rock hard good 3 (prob a 2, but don't want to damage the track too much, do we RV)L.....track records....everybody sees that.
Before 8 am this morning Good 4??? .....fine weather????.....not even close to accurate.

My TAB page in the last few weeks keeps freezing and needs refreshing every 15 mins or so.....it's never happened before.
I'm glad I've closed my account some time ago......I use the page for some form info.

Rubbish site!...I'd say something has been "out sourced"

Racenet is the same - their info is consistently wrong.

Looking for a leader here.  Maybe Callsign Mav?

Think he might get an easy run in front or thereabouts.

Could be cheeky at big odds.

State of Rest is an interesting runner.  His last run in the Saratoga Derby was a beauty.

Couldn't go with them initially when the pace went on but he tracked up nicely and went past them easily.

Just don't see the same pace in this and that could be a problem for him.

Big odds though on his last run.

I actually like Dalasan to lead or even Captivant. It will be interesting to see what they do with Very Elegant as unless something drastic happens, it could be a slow pace.

Reckon that will go down as one of the Cox Plates with a * next to it.

Exclusions, scratching, racing off the fence the whole way.

One has to wonder after seeing where the winner and the 3yr old came through are they over playing the fence? Semantics but seeing VE looping the field you must wonder what may have been if Lane dared to dive up the inside and cut the corner inside of  going via the front bar of Tatts

Anamoe also came out onto the winner in the straight.

This would be a travesty and a hometown decision if they give it to the colt.

Craig Williams protested once on me.....had a $20 double riding on it.
$20 winner 1st leg......lost it on exactly the point of a horse being taken off his entitled line.

This is a Cox Plate though.

The unhappiest person would be Vílandys. The protest took all the attention away from the Invitation on Channel 7.
