Interesting to read that Doumaran is now trained by Darren Weir? Looks like Williams is the still in the ownership.

Wonder if Weir can get this thing to jump out of the gates!

Watching Darren Weir improving just about every horse he gets his hands on, had the cynical part of me believing it was something he was putting in the horse's water.

After watching High Church win today's $100,000 Werribee Cup you can only give the Weir stable full credit.

High Church is a horse I've always liked and backed alot but pre Weir he seemed to carry his head high and looked  reluctant at times to really stretch his neck and have a go.
All his races for the new stable have been good and he now looks a very genuine race horse.
Don't know what the new owners paid but plenty of good times for them, that's for sure.

Waited a long time for High Church to get on to wet ground but missed the price and could only watch.

Williams certainly let some good stock go and with some moist tracks up north surely more wins to come.

What a good buy.

He is under new ownership and there are plenty of them.

Will be interesting to see if Weir can get him to jump out of the gates because jumping will probably be his go.

Tuesday  Trials Heat 19 at St Arnaud, Doumaran has first public trial for Weir.

Will be interesting to see if he jumps away after 3 refusals for Team Williams.

I'm tipping he will.

Doumaran scratched. Hope he trials soon.
And we won't be seeing Doumaran going over the jumps. Trust me ;)

Graeme Rogerson has purchased six of Lloyd's horses to race in NZ as well as here.

Gallante is one of them and I wonder if Hans Holbein is there too.

I'm sure some of Lloyd's wet trackers will be much more at home on NZ tracks and jumping could always be an option.

Nice win by Homesman - http://www.racingaustralia.horse/InteractiveForm/HorseFullForm.aspx?horsecode=NzkxNTczNTM2OA%3d%3d&src=horseform&raceentry=MTcyMjQyOTQ2MjY%3d

Lloyd could have another handy one there as it was first up in the country after about 7 months off.  :chin:

Owner Lloyd Williams is weighing up whether to run Almandin in Sydney Autumn. At this stage thinking runs in the Group One Tancred Stakes @rosehillgardens on March 31.

Noticed Our Century is now with Kim Waugh. Surprised me to see him sold, I always had a good opinion of him.

No autumn for Johannes Vermeer or Rekindling. Is Rekindling still being set for the Ascot Gold Cup? Doesn't sound like it.

Johannes will be incredibly hard to beat in the Melbourne Cup this year if he makes it back there in one piece. Clear one to beat, should still get in ok at the weights due to being a bridesmaid last year.

We finally get to see Surrey publicly for the first time.

The gelded son of High Chaparral and Maykbe Diva is a 5yr old.

I'm sure G Rogerson will find a race for him.
