Given the disregard of prominent Victorian participants for anything approaching respect for the integrity management team at RVL, it is astonishing hubris that another returning lost soul is paraded as the answer to industry needs and dreams.
The simple need, at RVL, is for the system in place to deliver voluntary respect and compliance with integrity objectives. It clearly does not.
.........and Aquinita has put a bus through the gap.
RV is now on a par with RQ, where many with any sense of the standing lack of integrity in its racing, simply disregards it.
The mantra of 'integrity' is what RVL trots out whenever it is made clear that it has little -- relentlessly pursuing participants that are rarely found guilty of anything more than 'disrespect' for stewards that apparently do not warrant it.
RVL protestations of 'integrity' fly in the face of its own clearly deliberate policies to inflate race fields, and the 'take' of themselves and their government and bookmaker sponsors, beyond any limits consistent with fair racing.
The new RVL board has had time to take stock -- those taking stock ask for a new, new board.
