Trail looks OK ew value in the next at Mornington. Darley horse trained by Freedman, was 3 deep the entire trip last start. Form in the race looks strong.

Darley stablemate wins at $5.20  :nowink:

I reckon those that backed the 2nd horse wouldn't be too happy with the call.

If you can get $3 is Galileo Gold a good bet in R6 tomorrow? I reckon it'll love the wet track and it was a good win last start, Stardom and Tuskegee Bomber look the only threats to me and both don't seem to handle wet as well as i think GG does/will.

Galileo Gold was terrific at Cranbourne (wide, green and strong to the line) and is probably the one to beat. Up in class here though and I wouldn't want to take $3 as I reckon he has a lot to learn. I agree that Stardom and Tuskeee Bomber are dangers (I think they are fine on the heavy). I would also throw in 2 others: Bold Script particularly, who ran up very strongly from last at his last outing, and Corinella, who has been competitive in this class and might improve on recent runs as she moves into the Mick Kent stable here.

Good luck

By the way, the second winner today, Trista Rossa, finished behind Stardom on the heavy at Sandown in May before a 3rd at Flemington and today's win. A nice form line!

No luck for Galileo Gold but it wasn't a bad result for me with Corinella, Stardom and Tuskedee Bomber running a $400+ trifecta.

  emthup

first start for M Kent at Cran with L Nolen on board worth more attention than I gave it.

In hindsight i did my form for Heavy when it was upgraded to S6 i probably should not have bet on GG, ahwell, used up all my luck on Yosei yesterday    .

Only really noticed it of late but the form out of these Cranbourne races seems to really stack up lots of winners from city to provs

Have got 3 black booked for Echuca tomorrow. Listed with the comments I made at the time of the replay.

27 Jun 11 ECHUCA   Race 05 - 01:15  1400m - DENILIQUIN RSL MAIDEN PLATE

1. BETTER BE SURE - John Ledger - a bit green on debut but ran on from the back and was fastest finisher.

27 Jun 11 ECHUCA   Race 08 - 03:00  1400m - 2011 SLICKPIX SILVER BOWL SERIES HEAT 5

8. FLYINGCONI - Ran on real well over 1200m at MV - look for more distance
10. VINGE GRANDE - Should go to next level after strong Maiden win

Backing one of Brian Cox's today at Wodonga - R6 #1 Murdoch's Joy. 3 starts for 2 wins and looked very good on the replays last start following on from a runaway maiden win. The much travelled Linda Meech going up there today to ride. Mick Price's horse, #4 Manicero might provide the biggest danger.

Ironically, my wife is leaving with the kids in the next hour to go to Wodonga and stay with friends for a few days.

Anyone know how much Rain Ballarat has got in the last 2 hours? Down 3 ratings, fair enough? or another case of putting up the wrong rating early?

Sean Baile Mor has done me a couple of favours recently. Don't like the barrier but will have a little ew in the Ballarat Cup today. Same bet on Tinseltown who I noted down after the 2nd up run.

Also have an asterisk against Bondarchuk in the last...not sure why  :chin:
