I'm looking forward to this.

Defibrillate is $12.00......seems generous.
Dry track almost assured and Defibrillate has all the Flemington boxes ticked (firm track, track and distance)
First time at WFA.......only query!

Good luck with that.

Track will play a key part especially if they start to come off the rails like last week. Speed is going to be interesting too.

I like Defibrillate but I reckon it's worth going wider.
You always like to see form on the track and surface at Flemington.

Check out Warning's 5th in the Group1 Turnbull Stakes...1 length off Verry Elleegant.....in fast time.
No doubt Freedman's have a plan and I like it.....fresh up and not jarred up.
I will have a couple of $'s e/w on Steel Prince and Chapada as well.

Agree about Warning as well Nem. Stupid price being bet currently

An example of P Mair and his cohorts inability to do form

And don't forget or discount Paradee.  She could lead all the way from her inside barrier or sit one back.

Good field, good race but one of many in Melbourne and Sydney on Saturday.  A great day of thoroughbred racing awaits us.

Interesting to see money come for Steel Prince...$12 into $9......I can see why.
I'd say Jamie Kah was very impressed by him in the Peter Young.
I hope he can get up on the pace and make sure there is no loafing.

If you watch the replay he sat outside the leader 3 wide and lost a couple of lengths when the sprint went on but was coming on again strong at the line.
100 metres or so after the line he's in front with his ears pricked.
He's a very good, strong galloper with a lot of stamina and can be very hard to get to get passed .....really likeable horse.

That's absolutely my last tip....     I'll be taking exotics for sure.

I couldn't back Warning with someone else's money. It will be a great training performance 1st up and I'll applaud but won't carry mine. Just feels like you need lightning to strike for him to win.

I can't go past Fifty Stars, just ticks so many boxes, track, form, distance, ground. Only slight worry is getting caught inside, fingers crossed J Allen can get a run when needed  :x:

The one I don't mind at the odds is Nonconformist, started equal fav with Paradee last time and only finished a length off, distance rise suits and he's now double her price  :chin:

I must admit I've got a soft spot for FS, my black book entry for him was from 28/9/18 ironically his first up defeat in his 2nd prep and just says 'group horse in the making' and had one of my biggest bets / collects in a long time at Flemington 6/11/2018

He doesn't owe me anything.
