I'm not into 2yr old racing much but this fellow deserves his own thread.
Very, very good horse in his own right and retired as a 3yr old.....sadly.

Has all the ingredients to be successful in a country that demands a lot from it's 2 yr olds.
Looks to be the leading 1st season sire on at least one of the stats.

Well done to this fellow today.  emthup

Golden Slipper winner from his 1st crop.
48 foals from his 1st season after  some fertility problems.
Stay Inside looked a million dollars and had plenty of believers from his good barrier draw.

Slipper winner packed with Danzig.
Exactly what a supposed breeding expert told me years ago would be very unattractive poor strategy.
Danehill, Anabaa etc...

The experts just need to check out the blaze of Stay Inside......a replica of his father and grand father.

The great mystery of the Slipper is "Why did J Mac jump off?

Shaking his head in awe of the winner with his Pierro Plate win and yet goes looking elsewhere for a ride :what:
What's going on there? :chin:

I suspect it was to do with his association with Waller and possible chances of losing other prime rides

Like all 2 year old winners, they are bad for racing, it is a self fulfilling prophecy, what makes him a "good" sire is the fact the he will replicate the myth, he will sire other good 2 year olds because they Mature early.....not because they are any Good.....when was the last time that the best Horse in Australia as an older horse....was also a former top 2 year old?? Baby races are BS started by the Breeders for the Breeders......it took them a few years but they have no sucked the public into buying BS and eating it 3 meals a day
Don't give me this BS that it is because they are retired early, they are retired early because the Breeders have a secret....they know it is more about Maturity and it is only a matter of time before they are shown us as weak, they retire them before that happens, what the public don't know is, it will bite them in the arse but as they don't understand wtf bit them....they won't know why!
personally I don't care, just don't P*ss on me and try to tell me it's raining!
